A Bunch of Questions with No Answers (2025)
Alex Reynolds, Robert Ochshorn
23 hours 10 minutes
English; Turkish subtitles
A Bunch of Questions with No Answers is a record of the questions posed by journalists to the US State Department during press briefings between October 3, 2023, and the end of the Biden administration about the ongoing genocide in Palestine. The 23-hour film by artists Alex Reynolds and Robert Ochshorn deliberately omits the convoluted answers to these questions that demand transparency and accountability.
The work is a compelling account of the asymmetry in how discourse is produced, the ambiguity of official language, and the limits of the mechanisms for public accountability. The film has been shown internationally, including in Belfast, Brussels, Ghent, New York, and Madrid.
A Bunch of Questions with No Answers will be screened without interruption in the Walk-in Cinema at Salt Beyoğlu from 13.00 on Saturday, November 29 to 12.00 on Sunday, November 30. The building’s ground floor will remain open throughout the program. Admission is free and open to everyone.
